About Stemity

Stemity was established by Shruti Badrish in 2020 as a non-profit dedicated to online competitions (click here for details). In 2021, it was expanded to include online workshops on Stemity.net, in order to help students learn more about and get more interested in various STEM fields. Through a series of workshops, we teach students about the various opportunities waiting for them in different areas of STEM.

What I think about the Stemity Java Camp is that it teaches you clearly and they answer every question you have, it’s fun, and it’s very interactive! I learned a lot about Java!

The camp was great, and I like how they explain thoroughly what each code does. The camp helped me with understanding the code – the history of it and what can and cannot be done by a specific code segment.

Meet the Mentors

Shruti Badrish – 2023, 2022, 2021

Hey! I’m Shruti, founder of Stemity. I’m a senior at Redmond High School. I’ve been really into STEM ever since I was little, and I’ve attended various competitions and classes on these subjects. Through Stemity, I hope to introduce students to the wonders of STEM, and allow them to use our workshops as a stepping stone for greater heights.

Aparna Iyer – 2021

Hello! My name is Aparna Iyer and this year I am a rising junior at Tesla STEM High School. Science has always been one of my favorite subjects and I’ve always enjoyed it more when I was able to experiment and learn hands on. I hope that I will be able to help you enjoy science as much as I do!

Krithi Iyer – 2021

Hi! My name is Krithi and I’m a rising junior at Redmond High School this year. I really love science and through Stemity, I hope I can inspire my love for science in elementary schoolers.

Pranavi Rohit – 2021

Hello! I’m Pranavi, and I’m a rising junior at Eastlake High School. I’ve found a passion and love for science over the past few years. I’ve realized the joy in and importance of hands-on, interactive learning first hand. I don’t want any other students to have to wait until high school to realize this. I truly hope I can help students experience this as soon as possible through the activities and workshops Stemity offers.
